A Note from the Artist

“My current body of work is a visual exploration of the duality of my life as an artist. I am drawn to both the city and the country, each offering its own unique perspectives and inspirations. The city of Hoboken, where my studio has been situated since 1979, provides the grit, strength, and dynamic light that I find so captivating. In contrast, the country provides me with a sense of peace and tranquility, allowing me to tap into my meditative mindset and appreciate the pure essence of its colors, composition, and natural beauty. I have decided to create an exhibit that showcases these two opposing environments, highlighting the yin and yang of my life as an artist. The exhibit is an exploration of the two sides of my existence, and the role that these environments play in shaping my artistic vision.”
