2 Day Watercolor Workshop “The Nature of Water”: A Watercolor Journey with Artist Ray Guzman

Working with watercolors can be a beautiful and expressive medium for artistic exploration. This workshop will offer a comprehensive experience, focusing on both foundational exercises and personal expression.

On the first day of the workshop, you can expect to engage in a series of exercises. These exercises are designed to help you familiarize yourself with the materials and techniques used in watercolor painting while providing a solid foundation for your journey in the medium.

All the necessary materials for the “The Nature of Water” Watercolor class will be provided. French Watercolor paper, brushes, palettes (ceramic and plastic), color blocks, easel.

The second day of the workshop will be dedicated to painting from your own resources. You’ll have the opportunity to bring a photo, sketch, or an idea that you would like to discuss and explore in watercolor. This part of the workshop is aimed at encouraging your individual expression and creativity.  There will be open discussions and critiques during the class. This allows for valuable feedback and an opportunity to learn from both the instructor and fellow participants.

The cost of this 2 day workshop is $300, including all the materials. Wear comfortable clothes and bring an apron and your own lunch.
